Americana musician and award-winning songwriter Les Sampou has toured the US and internationally for decades. She has produced eight albums for Rounder Records and as an Indie artist. Les is known for her diverse styles, smart lyrics, and hook-laden melodies as well as her original take on cover songs. In addition to writing songs for film and TV, Les Sampou has performed at such world-class stages as Montreal Jazz Festival, Toronto Blues Festival, SXSW, Kerrville (winning first prize for songwriting) and Philadelphia Folk Festival, and has appeared on top-syndicated radio programs such as Acoustic Cafe, World Cafe, and NPR. In 2021, Les won First Prize for Lyrics in the 26th Annual US Songwriting Contest.
